1. Information We Collect
SqlInt is an independently operated SQL practice platform. We collect only the information described below, and only what is needed to run the Service.
- Account information. SqlInt uses sign-in through Google or GitHub (managed by Supabase). When you sign in, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by that provider. We never see your Google or GitHub password.
- Learning and progress data. Your activity on the Service, such as the questions you have visited, attempted, or solved, the SQL answers you submit for puzzles, and your progress (scores and completion status) across questions, puzzles, and case studies.
- Purchase records. The packs you purchase, your access period, payment status, and the Razorpay order and payment identifiers associated with your purchase (see Payment Processing below).
- Contact messages. If you contact us through the Contact Us page or submit a problem contribution, we receive the name, email address, and message content you provide. These messages are forwarded to our email inbox; they are not stored in our application database.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account and keep you signed in
- Provide the Service and track your learning progress
- Unlock purchased packs and manage your access period
- Respond to your messages, support requests, and refund requests
- Understand, through Google Analytics, how the site is used so we can improve it
- Prevent abuse of the Service, for example through rate limiting
We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. Payment Processing
Payments for paid packs are handled by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI, netbanking, or other payment credentials. When you buy a pack:
- Razorpay collects and processes your payment details directly on its own checkout screen
- After a successful payment, we receive a confirmation together with Razorpay order and payment identifiers, which we store in your purchase record to unlock and manage your access
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Razorpay
If Razorpay needs to verify a transaction or provide you support, it may collect additional information (such as your email address or phone number) directly under its own privacy policy.
4. Information Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers needed to operate the Service:
- Supabase — hosts our application database and handles account authentication
- Razorpay — processes payments and refunds
- Resend — delivers contact and contribution form messages to our email inbox
- Vercel — hosts the website
- Google (Google Analytics) — provides website usage analytics
We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SqlInt, its users, or others.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only the technologies needed to operate the site:
- Essential sign-in session cookies that keep you logged in — signed-in features do not work without them
- Local storage on your device to remember your theme preference, and session storage to cache content while you browse
- Google Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used and improve the Service
- Razorpay's checkout window may set its own cookies to process your payment securely; those are governed by Razorpay
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active, so your progress is preserved. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to manage your access, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. When information is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise dispose of it, subject to applicable legal or legitimate retention requirements.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and personal data, email support.sqlint@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will delete your profile and learning/progress data. Purchase records may be retained where necessary to manage refunds, disputes, accounting, tax, legal obligations, or other legitimate requirements. Some copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being permanently removed.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and database-level security policies. No method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction, completion, or erasure of your personal data
- Raise a grievance about how your data is handled
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in specified circumstances
To exercise these rights, contact support.sqlint@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Children's Privacy and Eligibility
SqlInt is an educational SQL learning platform and may be used by students under 18. We do not knowingly use children's personal data for targeted advertising or sell personal data. We process personal data in accordance with applicable law and will apply any consent or other safeguards required for processing children's personal data. Parents or guardians with questions about a child's data can contact us at support.sqlint@gmail.com.
11. Grievance and Privacy Contact

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. The updated policy applies from its effective date, and your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
